Personal file management with Google Drive.

Last updated: 29 September 2026

Purpose and operator

rclone is operated by Phillip McMahon for personal file transfers, backups and synchronisation. It is intended only for the account owner and is not a public service.

Google data accessed and used

Within the permissions approved by the owner, rclone may access file contents and metadata such as names, folder structure, sizes and modification times. This access is used to carry out file-management commands chosen by the owner, including reading, uploading, updating or deleting files.

Storage and retention

OAuth credentials are stored in the rclone configuration on the devices where it is configured. File copies are held in Google Drive and the destinations selected by the owner. Copies and transfer logs remain until removed under the retention settings used for those destinations and devices. This website does not store Drive files or OAuth credentials.

Sharing and other uses

Drive data is transferred only as directed by the owner to the selected destinations. This integration does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, profiling or training AI models. Google and any destination providers process data under their own applicable policies.

Website visitors

These pages use no cookies, analytics, scripts, forms or third-party assets. The hosting server may record ordinary request details, including IP addresses, requested URLs, timestamps and browser information, according to its logging configuration.

Control and removal

The owner can revoke the integration in their Google Account third-party connections settings and remove its credentials from rclone. Revoking access does not delete existing file copies or backups. These must be deleted separately from their storage locations.

Contact

For questions about this integration, use the user support email listed on its Google authorisation screen.
